Hi, Mukesh,
Teachers generally don't get paid anywhere near that. But in the article that you cite, there is a special charter school in NYC that is slated to open next year that will pay that to teachers. It is an anomaly, but should be the norm.
My wife is a special-ed teacher, and you just can't believe the amount of work that these kinds of teachers (as well as most other teachers) do, that is not paid for or appreciated.
I think if we paid our teachers, nurses, firefighters, etc. what they deserved, and we paid CEOs what they deserved, we'd have a much better situation that the "Bizarro" pay scales we have now.
We can dream, can't we?
Hello Guys,
Thanks for sharing Interesting article..
I read somewhere teachers get paid six figures to teach. The article is at http://payteachersmore.com/?p=29
Do you think education will improve if teachers are paid more? I think so. This is much interesting and informative…
Well keep on Posting..
Visit you again.
