i need to prepare myself for 9th grade

Professor Homunculus sez:

Amir, check out the post at What if I fail 9th Grade Math?

The thing is, every school's 9th grade math program is a little (or a lot) different from any other. "Standards" are a myth. SO find out what they want in your school (I'm sure you can get ahold of their curriculum guides, unless they are sneaky about it - ask a guidance counsellor to help you) and then hit a library and look those subjects up.

Make sure you look through a lot of books and find the ones that are not intimidating, but are not baby-books, either. Talk to the librarian. Librarians can be great allies in your education.

That's really the way to go. If you start reading, and don't give up if it seems a bit difficult at first, by the end of the summer you'll be looking forward to breezing through 9th grade.

All the best to you in your learning endeavors!

Is this still up and running? It sounds great to me. I will read it over and probably sign up!

Professor Homunculus sez:

Thanks for asking. I've neglected it for too long. I just finished video course on "Times without the Tables" at http://learn2multiply.com, and now I'll get back to work on this series.

Check back in about a week. If nothing's up, send me an e-mail through the contact form at the top-right of the blog.

All the best,

Prof. H.
